Submissions close April 1, 2019!
We are looking for poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and visual art submissions from anyone and everyone on the theme of uncertainty. Uncertainty is something that we all experience in so many ways every day, and we want to know what it means to you.
We accept simultaneous submissions and revert the rights of the piece to the author, though we ask that you acknowledge Trouble Child in any future publication. Unfortunately, we are unable to pay our authors and artists at this time.
Please only include one submission per email.
Please keep all submissions under 3,000 words.
Include the title of your piece and the genre in the subject of your email (i.e., "Title" / GENRE).
Include your name, contact information, and a short biographical statement (approximately 50 words) with your submission. Also, let us know where you heard about Trouble Child!
All poetry and prose submissions should be submitted as a document (.doc or .docx).
All art must be submitted as a JPEG file with a minimum of 300 DPI.
Please send all submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are a small volunteer staff and cannot consider submissions that don’t follow our guidelines, so please read our instructions carefully! If you have questions, send us an email at email@example.com.
